I was born in England and came to Australia at the age of 7. Books have always been a passion. I remember being in school and having the Wishing Chair by Enid Blyton being read in instalments in the afternoons. I will read most genres except science fiction (not my thing). My daughter is also a book lover and went to America last year and bought both of us a Kindle. Now introduced to ebooks I no longer have to go to the library. I am truly lucky to have married a wonderful man (40 yrs) and am blessed with 2 wonderful children. I live on 5 acres of glorious bushland. Between family, reading and gardening I keep busy. I am also a member of Scouts Australia (28 yrs), and have a love of both dogs and cats. Unfortunately the lovely Gordon Setter has gone to the "Rainbow bridge", but I know we will meet again one day
